We discovered this place thanks to a Christmas present, and were not disappointed!
Everything was perfect! From the kitchen to the service, very precise explanations on the terroirs, the history of the place, the wines and cheeses...

No false rating, I can only give 5 stars.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming, everything was delicious and cooked with great skill (I also tasted each of my wife's dishes).
The service was perfect, both from the sommelier and from the cook who brought us our dish and I would like to add a special mention to our very friendly waiter, with a sense of humor, and who knew how to sell the dishes very well since I took one that I wouldn't have chosen but the argument was so well presented that I let myself be seduced and I didn't regret it at all!
There is nothing to complain about in terms of price, it is entirely reasonable in relation to the overall quality of the experience.
To do without hesitation!

Excellent service and meal.
I am removing 1 star because there was a little surprise when paying the bill with prices that are not announced when you are offered the house aperitif which is still €14/glass (at that price, it should be announced ) and we had initially taken the main course and dessert formula but the waitress offered us a starter plate for 3, so everyone understood that she was offering us the starter (it was the end of service). In the end, we had had 3 plates and we were counted 2 starter, main course and dessert formulas...it's not very correct.

Très bonne surprise. Personnel charmant, cuisine traditionnelle et bien exécutée, jolie petite carte des vins. Service rapide pour le déjeuner. Tout est réalisé maison, même le pain. Bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant dans la charmante cité de Charroux.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, repas très goûteux dans un cadre très agréable. Tout est de qualité, la décoration, le service, les plats. Personnel attentif, très compétent et agréable. Les prix sont très corrects. À ne pas manquer si vous êtes dans les environs.
