If you're looking for authentic, high-quality home-style cooking in generous portions, this is the place for you! Our house recommendation: Cordon Bleu in morel cream sauce (here with chanterelles) and superb spaetzle/knöpfle.

We arrived on time, 9 pm, the time of our reservation. We were directed to the bar to wait and "have a drink," according to the host. At the bar, no one was there to help us for 15 minutes. A waiter finally appeared, a very good one we had dealt with before, and he promptly took our order and served us. Thank you to him. We were shown to our table and waited another 15-20 minutes before someone came to assist us. This person was very friendly, and the service was excellent. I can understand the crowds on this Saturday evening, but I was less than impressed that some staff members completely ignored us and that the guy at the entrance brushed us off by directing us to a bar where no one paid any attention to us. Furthermore, it took 25 minutes to find a seat, and the drinks were exorbitantly priced. To relax, it's the same: an unbearable cacophony.

Having been there several times, I can tell you that the food is top-notch. Never disappointed, even with the daily special; always generous portions, delicious, and high quality. The service is excellent, even during peak hours; the staff is incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it.
