Flunch sur Saint-Martin-Boulogne

Very pleasant place. The food was excellent. I recommend going there. Excellent price.

I wish we had fast food this good in the UK. It's cheap and cheerful, and feels like a McDonald's inside, but the food is varied and of much better quality than you'd get in a burger chain, with all-you-can-eat veggies. The range of desserts is really good too. Service varied from very friendly to surly and bored, but we didn't need to interact much.

It's taking far too long, we've been waiting for 30 minutes already and we still haven't received our meal. The beeper is flashing but still hasn't sounded. My child is very hungry.

I am writing to you regarding the unpleasant experience I had today. I ordered a melon and prosciutto as a starter, and it turned out that the salad underneath the prosciutto was rotten. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the cashier, who replied that it was just for decoration and that it wasn't a big deal. She told me to go and get some more salad, which I didn't do, as I was offended by her response. I hope you understand my disappointment. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Best regards.

Flunch is adequate, not yet renovated, but the staff is efficient and the service is quick. The starter buffet is rather meager, however, compared to those in Liévin, Arras, Noyelles... the starters are competing for attention :(. The selection of hot side dishes is decent. It's missing a self-service green salad/tomato option like in Liévin, for example, a bit of freshness... In short, it does the job, neither surprising nor disappointing.

A well-known chain, so you know what to expect. However, this one is quite slow. Between the wait at the register and the preparation time, allow...20 minutes. Not ideal when you only have an hour.

I ordered a Welsh rarebit which was oily. I asked for another one. The very nice gentleman asked his colleague behind him who was in charge of the fries, who wasn't very friendly by the way. He told her no, either she eats it as is or chooses something else. What a joke! A meal for 15.95, taking a cheaper meal, what a benefit! Plus, the fries were barely out of the fryer, thrown directly into a bowl without being drained. She saw me heading towards the manager to show her the Welsh rarebit, and she rolled her eyes. My daughter told me she went to complain to her colleague. The manager told me to ask them to change it for me. I said, "Well, that's exactly it," and they refused. I got my way, but frankly, I'm increasingly disappointed. There's little choice in vegetables, and they're undercooked and tasteless.

We came at lunchtime, and the cashier was great. We had the lasagna, and the kids had burgers—we really enjoyed it! However, there must be a problem with the soundproofing because we couldn't hear ourselves talk; the noise was too loud. The extra touch was the children's games; they were great and helped keep the kids entertained during the meal.
