Flunch sur Vendin-Le-Vieil

07/12/2025: Every time we're passing through, we stop there; the atmosphere is friendly and the traditional cuisine is excellent.

01/11/2025: We've been here before and weren't disappointed with the quality or the price. But we were very disappointed today, as we waited almost an hour before our order was even taken. The order-taking system needs a complete overhaul because several tables had their orders taken before ours, even though they arrived after us (the restaurant wasn't full). The owner and the young waitress were very friendly and welcoming, but the other waitress really made us want to leave and never come back! The portions are tiny; the meat is good, but unfortunately, it's poorly cooked. The portion sizes don't justify the exorbitant prices (for example, the Welsh rarebit was very small; even a small eater would be left wanting more). I think this restaurant would have more positive reviews and customers if the portions were more generous than they should be, or if they lowered the prices for the same quantity.
