I won't dwell on the food at Flunch; it's a perfectly decent, standard self-service restaurant. The decor has been updated to be more understated and relaxing. However, having children, was it really necessary to put a giant tablet screen in the play area, given its potential negative effects? A small, negative update: the tablets are pointless, requiring verification by an employee half the time, which ultimately wastes even more time. So much for trust...

Prices have gone up considerably, but portion sizes remain the same; a restaurant like Flunch is still expensive for a family.

26/05/2026: It's pretty run-down. The mattress is rubbish and instead of a slatted frame, there's just a chipboard base. A restful sleep is only possible to a limited extent.
