Excellent service. The husband-and-wife team provided a warm and welcoming dining experience. The food was excellent, the dessert was delicious, and the Poignée de Syrah wine paired nicely with the meal. We had the Poulet Voyageur and Bol des Alpages, followed by a wonderful apple pastry-style dessert with whipped cream. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home-cooked style meal away from the typical tourist spots.

Lovely restaurant, only 4 tables outside, really friendly, Peter and Sylvie are lovely, best meal we've had since we have been here, we are going back for lunch today.

Welcomed by Opa and Oma in a warm and familial atmosphere, it felt like stepping back into our grandmother's kitchen. Here, everything is homemade, using fresh, local ingredients, prepared with love. How can we describe the experience we just had with Peter and Sylvie... a truly timeless moment! Two hours in a bubble, a discovery made almost by chance, initially drawn by the menu of delicious dishes offered outside... with only four seats advertised inside, we decided to try our luck at having lunch. We were welcomed by Peter and immersed in Sylvie's kitchen, where she described each dish. Everything looked tempting, but we had to choose! We opted for a specialty, the Alpine bowl, oh my goodness... a delight! We also had the chance to taste Peter's chocolate... Not just any chocolate, a treat for the taste buds, an experience, a pleasure to hear the story of this authentic, closely guarded recipe—and for good reason, there's nothing else like it, the perfect balance of flavor and creaminess without being overly sweet. A tasting not to be missed when strolling through the old town! More than just a meal, we had the pleasure of sharing a truly special moment with this charming and touching duo...full of humanity and kindness, who welcome you as if you were family and passionately share moments from their story and projects with a smile. The Viennese hot chocolate and cheesecake were absolutely delicious! The owner is very friendly.

The hot chocolate was creamy and the atmosphere very pleasant. The apple strudel melted in my mouth and the conversations were interesting. A lovely little café with exceptionally friendly service. I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Annecy.
