How can we describe the experience we just had with Peter and Sylvie... a truly timeless moment! Two hours in a bubble, a discovery made almost by chance, initially drawn by the menu of delicious dishes offered outside... with only four seats advertised inside, we decided to try our luck at having lunch. We were welcomed by Peter and immersed in Sylvie's kitchen, where she described each dish. Everything looked tempting, but we had to choose! We opted for a specialty, the Alpine bowl, oh my goodness... a delight! We also had the chance to taste Peter's chocolate... Not just any chocolate, a treat for the taste buds, an experience, a pleasure to hear the story of this authentic, closely guarded recipe—and for good reason, there's nothing else like it, the perfect balance of flavor and creaminess without being overly sweet. A tasting not to be missed when strolling through the old town! More than just a meal, we had the pleasure of sharing a truly special moment with this charming and touching duo...full of humanity and kindness, who welcome you as if you were family and passionately share moments from their story and projects with a smile. The Viennese hot chocolate and cheesecake were absolutely delicious! The owner is very friendly.

The hot chocolate was creamy and the atmosphere very pleasant. The apple strudel melted in my mouth and the conversations were interesting. A lovely little café with exceptionally friendly service. I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Annecy.

An extraordinary culinary and human experience! From the moment we arrived, Sylvie and Peter gave us a very warm welcome. It's like coming to eat at your grandparents' house, "Opa and Oma" as they're known. They are full of life and are a very touching couple! There are three of us, my parents and myself, which is perfect because, given the winter season and the limited (but incredibly cozy) interior space, we'll be the only ones eating there. This intimate atmosphere accentuates the unique and welcoming feel of the experience, just like at Grandma and Grandpa's. Peter and Sylvie took the time to explain the story behind each dish, made primarily with local products. Sylvie speaks with passion about the creation and preparation of her dishes, which are cooked almost right before our eyes! After piquing our curiosity, we are enveloped by the delicious aroma of home-cooked meals. Once served, our taste buds confirm it: yum, it's delicious! Sylvie and Peter shared fascinating stories about their lives, filled with adventure, kindness, and love, always with a touch of humor—just like them! And how could we not mention their signature product, the reason they've become stars in Annecy: their homemade hot chocolate... a recipe made with just three perfectly measured ingredients, resulting in a deliciously smooth texture that showcases their unique expertise. Remember, there's no need to wish you good luck because you don't need it. ;) You haven't reached the end of your adventures yet. A truly authentic sensory experience you won't find anywhere else! A hidden gem of a café that deserves recognition. The hot chocolate is truly exceptional, just like it should be everywhere, and the homemade apple strudel is magnificent. The only downside is its small size 😂
