Fou de Fafa sur Avignon

Can't recommend this restaurant enough, I visited here for celebrating my parents wedding anniversary and we had an amazing experience. We all tasted different main courses and desserts and all were sublime. Apart from the food, also an important note to share; Antonia is a great host, you can easily say that she enjoys a lot while working which also keeps the customers happy and I'm sure once you visit Fou de Fafa, you'll be back when you're in Avignon again. I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Fou de Fafa. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. My server was incredibly warm, kind, attentive, and carried such beautiful energy that it elevated the entire evening. She made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. I enjoyed the three-course menu and every dish was outstanding. I began with the asparagus and fresh goat cheese starter, followed by the saddle of lamb, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For dessert, I had the banoffee pie with an espresso - the perfect ending to a memorable meal. What I especially loved was the clear focus on fresh, local ingredients, which made everything feel authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Every course was beautifully executed, and the entire experience felt special from start to finish. If you are visiting Avignon and want incredible food paired with truly heartfelt hospitality, I highly recommend this restaurant. A highlight of my time here.

The friendly female owner provided excellent service. The French home-style cooking was a great experience. It was slightly greasy, but that seems to be a characteristic of French cuisine. Recommended for a visit to Avignon.

excellent service and dishes were at an exquisite level. the hostess knew the brief menu and drinks so well and hosted with warmth and passion ! i felt right at home even with no French language ability. i ordered the trout fillet as a starter, grilled pork main dish and ended with the panna cotta

Based on the many positive reviews, we had reserved a table and were not disappointed. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, the service was exceptionally friendly, and the food was absolutely superb.
