The best chip shop ever! Finally, good, fresh fries served in generous portions at an attractive price, unlike other chip shops, especially in Tourcoing city center where they're neither fresh nor very expensive. I often go back to Gaiguette's on weekends; it's a real treat for my taste buds... And for those who say they're disappointed with the cooking or that it's expensive, you're finding problems where there aren't any!

06/08/2026: The food was good. Nothing exceptional, but perfectly acceptable. The vegetables, side dishes, and sauces are unlimited with the main course, which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly. However, no one spoke English, which made ordering a bit complicated for us as Dutch-speaking customers. The main downside was a long staff meeting that took place right in front of the buffet. During this time, it was impossible to get any vegetables or side dishes, which was quite frustrating. Overall, we had a good time and the meal was enjoyable, but a few small details could still improve the experience.
04/08/2026: It took 45 minutes to get my food, and one person in particular was very unpleasant in the kitchen! I just applaud the manager, who was remarkably kind and did her best to correct everyone else's mistakes. I would come back just for that; she's a true professional!
