Definitely my favorite "comfort" restaurant in Lyon. I go there alone for lunch and it's a pure delight on my days off.

We had a great time at Frites! The decor is fantastic, the food too, and it's very affordable! There were two power cuts during the evening, but the customers kept the atmosphere lively!

We received a superb welcome; there were 20 of us, and despite our almost unannounced arrival, the staff managed to accommodate us perfectly!
The poutines were generous and delicious. The burgers were also excellent, especially the homemade buns, which were soft and fresh.
The price was reasonable considering the quality and quantity; we paid €300 for 20 people.

So, being from Lille, I'm pretty picky about fries and fricadelles, but honestly, this is something else. I've never tasted such good fricadelles in my life; the fries are cooked just like they do up north, and the idea of making poutine with fricadelles is pure genius. I was served very quickly, and the decor is nice. If you're ever in Lyon, I highly recommend it.

Been a good decade since i have had the pleasure of poutine and was really looking forward to this. It didn't disappoint at all, the food was indulgent and top notch, and the portions generous. There are so many varieties too for meat eaters, for a veggie the classic does enough but perhaps they could experiment with 1 or 2 additional veggie poutines. The staff were great and attentive, if you need an english menu you can find a pdf version on the website.

We came for lunch this morning as a group of seven and had a wonderful time. We were served by Bea, who took care of everything with great kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. The service was truly excellent, and she looked after us from beginning to end. A big thank you to Bea for her warm welcome and excellent service! We will gladly return 😊
