Gavroche sur Cannes

A wonderful discovery! This restaurant has a romantic atmosphere. The staff was fantastic. The owner is very friendly with her customers. We highly recommend this lovely spot, ideally located in Old Cannes. As an added bonus, we were given a light fleece to keep us warm outside during our meal.

This restaurant has become my go-to for the first evening of every business trip to Cannes, and it's a tradition I absolutely love! We never have a reservation, and despite the restaurant always being busy, the wonderful ladies running the place somehow manage to squeeze us in. The atmosphere is fantastic, tucked away on a terrace in the heart of the old town, perfect for watching the world go by. The menu is nice, with changing specials, and everything I've tried over the years has been lovely. This time, I started with cheese parcels, salad and a beautiful vinaigrette, followed by a perfectly cooked beef fillet with an incredible pepper sauce. The wine selection is excellent too. It's one of those places that never disappoints. Wonderful food, lovely people and a fantastic atmosphere. It will absolutely remain my first-night tradition in Cannes!

One of the best meals you can get in Cannes. The food and service is amazing. I love the maitre'd Fabienne and her husband who is also the Chef, both of whom are unbelievable. If you are in Cannes and want a French culinary experience-this is the place to visit

Our time at Gavroche was excellent. The owner, a welcoming lady, offered a warm reception. The food was impressive; the ceviche was divine and highly recommended.

Our whole experience here was fantastic. Impeccable service from the chefs wife (didn’t catch her name!). The food was so fresh and delicious. We felt so at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Such a lovely independent French restaurant, the ladies who served us were amazing and talked us through the whole menu, “saying her husband is the chef so everything is amazing”. Really nice atmosphere as well I would definitely recommend

We have visited in 2021 and it was our first stop in 2026. Still as amazing as we have found it the first time! Thank you for amazing memories (and dinner of course) 😊

The steak with green pepper sauce and fries was incredible, and the foie gras unforgettable. Wine recommendations were spot on - their wines are fantastic. Gavroche is a family run restaurant with immaculate service and wonderful atmosphere. Our favorite dining experience in Cannes. I didn’t take pictures of the food because I was too busy enjoying it.
