A great stop on your hike if you want to replenish the calories you burned on the trails. The menu is simple but features specialties, and the dishes are well-prepared and generous; special mention goes to the pounti and mille-feuille, which have made this place famous!

Great stop on my hiking route. Slept and dined and I really enjoyed it. Very friendly welcome by Veronique. The room is simple but very comfortable, and very quiet. Delicious Cantalou dinner with a competition tripou and a delicious truffade, I also had the favor of the millefeuille, a recognized tradition of the inn with Guiguite's recipe 😋 Great breakfast with cheese, yogurts, bread, pastries. It's been a long time since I had such a good croissant. Possibility to buy something for a picnic the next day at the adjoining grocery store. Honestly a nice discovery. And the hamlet of Mandailles is magnificent, with lots of well-restored typical houses. I RECOMMEND! 😀

2 nights half-board in early August. Ideally located for hikers. Very quiet and in the heart of the village! Breakfast is made with fresh, local produce; it's varied and plentiful! Dinner is excellent, with a special mention for the desserts! The server was as pleasant as he was professional! The back terrace was very pleasant! Grocery store on site for hikers. We stayed in the annex; we'll definitely be back with the family! Congratulations on your work!

26/07/2024: The recipe for the perfect summer stay in Cantal? A wonderful little village, an idyllic setting and hosts, Sylvie and Michel, of incredible kindness. Two of us stayed in the Bertrande room, which was absolutely impeccably clean, very comfortable and with a simple and soothing decoration. The very well renovated and very clean establishment is a true haven of peace. The breakfast is hearty, fresh and served with a smile, which is a real pleasure. Michel and Sylvie were, in addition to all this, very good advice on hikes or walks to do in the area, as well as restaurants, farms where to find good cheese... We were so well received that we extended our stay to enjoy it a little more! We are absolutely delighted to have met you and to our stay in your beautiful house. Thank you both again for your welcome and your kindness. Sandra and Michel
