We originally wanted to go to the busy restaurant further down the road, which was right on our route. Instead, we went to the grocery store next door to get some cheese. We had a fantastic dinner after our hike. The kitchen and service staff were excellent—friendly, smiling, and the food was delicious! Special mention for the Tripoux (the tripe specialty), especially the Truffade and the homemade mille-feuille!

A simple and delicious restaurant! Good, homemade local products – just what you need after a good hike. The €21 set menu is well thought out, the truffade is delicious, and the pastries are lovely and homemade. The staff is accommodating. We had a great time at this establishment. Remember to book!

Thank you again for your hospitality. Our group of tired hikers was able to recharge and enjoy a magnificent mille-feuille. The grocery store right next door was also very welcome.

This café-restaurant-hotel also has a grocery store and bakery. The grocery store is well-stocked, including local cheeses and cured meats, which is very convenient when hiking for several days. It's lovely to be able to have a coffee on the sunny terrace in the morning. However, the service leaves much to be desired; the welcome is very cold, which is a shame for a village of this size that relies primarily on sports tourism.

Excellent experience at Les Genêts d'Or. A completely rejuvenating stop on the GR400. The annex was perfect.
