Excellent ice cream. No seating available (just a table in direct sunlight on a paved surface). There was only one waitress, who did her best and was very friendly and pleasant. We'll gladly return!

We found ourselves in Lyon on a seriously hot day in August. In need of cooling, we found Amorino which we know and love. The attendant was on his own in the shop and was working his butt off in this heat, all the while smiling and being incredibly friendly with everyone waiting in line. We didn't get his name, but felt he deserved a shout-out and five stars!

Delicious ice cream, beautifully shaped like a rose. Friendly staff who take great care in creating the rose. With this delicious ice cream in hand, a stroll through the narrow streets of Lyon can be enjoyed even more.

La Tour Rose

25/06/2026: Very nice stay in Mi Hotel Tour Rose - Terracotta room and Ocre room. The hotel is perfectly situated exactly where we wanted to stay ; old town Lyon. Everything was great and accurately portrayed on internet. Service is a bit complicated to reach, but when we successfully reached them they were very nice and quick to act. As the hotel does not have any on-site employees, if we needed something, such as new towels, or if we had an issue with our room, we had to contact them by phone. As we did not have an international phone plan we had to borrow phones from restaurants to reach them. And they are not always available as the line is frequently busy. We had to call several times and on two different occasions.
29/05/2026: Always excellent, with a preference for rooms overlooking the courtyard. Unbeatable value for money. One suggestion (I know it's not your business model, but) => put a bottle of chilled water in the rooms upon arrival. See you soon!
