Very good time. Small but cozy -- on the other hand if there are a lot of you, maybe it's better to call. Pleasant service. We had a little bit of everything and everything was delicious -- a personal fondness for the beef and lamb stew 👌👌

Godjo is a small gem serving authentic Ethiopian cuisine. We tried the Ye Tsom Beyayinetou and it has a delightfully flavor.

If you want authentic Ethiopian cuisine in Paris, you must come here. It is a very small place, so getting a seat for a larger group can be challenging, and the service can be a bit slow, so be patient & but the food will make up for it!!! If you want the authentic dark injera/bread (made with Teff), you have to ask for it because they only make it on request, but it is well worth the upcharge! In a word, the food is absolutely "Delicious"!!!

Portion could be more generous, other than that it’s a cute traditional Ethiopian restaurant. Lovely ladies cooking in the kitchen and always smiling 🙂

If you’re an aficionado of Ethiopian Cuisine like I am, you don’t wanna miss Godjo in Rue de l’École Polytechnique, not far from Le Panthéon. Jonas will treat you to some of the best specialties such as Doro Wot, Ketfo or Ye Beg Alicha. If you are more on the veggie side, then you might consider a Messer Wot or a Beyayenetu! Make sure you come on my behalf. You will be greeted as a friend!

I have been disappointed by some of the over-hyped “Michelin” restaurants in Paris that leave my taste buds unsatisfied. There isn’t enough flavor to extract from a table-spoon sized carrot purée. I find that you can find the magical food experience you are looking for in Paris in unexpected places.
I went to Godjo’s, an Ethiopian restaurant the day after dining at one of these Michelin Star restaurants in the 5th arrondissement. The burst of flavors from their assortment dish called “Ye Feseg” Blew My Mind! I felt home and home for me is Argentina so I don’t know how that is possible. I have since come back every other day and will do so until my flight home.
Thank you Godjo. Thanks to you for giving me my taste buds back. I thought I had lost them after getting covid and realized that I just needed to find good restaurants.

Maybe my favourite restaurant in Paris … The food is just to die for and I can’t help but keep coming back here! If you’re coming as a group of 2 (or more) definitely get the assorted meat menu and a vegetarian assortiment too, that way you get to try a bit of everything ! The flavors are just incredible and I’ve never been disappointed :)

The food is great-sitting space is a little crowded, even for Paris. We paid a total of 76 e for 3 people, drinks included.
