A true gem nestled in a lively neighborhood in the heart of Paris, the kind of place we wish we could find more often. The owner, discreet yet attentive to service, contributes to the simple, warm, and unpretentious atmosphere. And the food! The chicken and leg of lamb with onions were sublime: generous, fragrant, and incredibly flavorful. Succulent Ethiopian cuisine, full of character and delightful discoveries. Special mention goes to the rock music, totally unexpected and giving the place a unique personality. Hearing tracks like Avoun Doupou Me Douga or Ok-Oyot System during your meal is pretty awesome! 🎸 With only a few tables, the place maintains a private and almost secret feel, far removed from large, impersonal dining rooms. The kind of place you only share with close friends… a true gem! I will definitely be back. ❤️🇪🇹

We were walking past Restaurant Godjo with another place in mind when the wonderful aroma of hearty, delicious food caught our attention. We stopped to read the menu, decided to go in—and we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was relaxed and homely, and the food was incredible. We barely spoke throughout the meal, apart from commenting on how delicious each part of the dish was! The service was also top-class: kind, attentive and genuinely caring. This was our first time eating Ethiopian food, and it was a fantastic experience. We would happily return anytime. Thank you so much!

For the first time, we decided to eat here. We weren't disappointed. Quite the opposite. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and treated us like queens 👑 as we were the first customers that Sunday evening 😉. This was my third time at an Ethiopian restaurant in Paris 🇪🇹. I highly recommend it. The starter... absolutely delicious for two, and we were so full because we'd had a fantastic ice cream beforehand that we took the next course home... Mmmmmm... I recommend this authentic restaurant for a full meal where the crepes are so light... Thank you 😉🩷💖 for the warm welcome, the kindness, the conversation, and a big 😘❤️ to the wonderful chef 👌🏽.
