After a nice walk on Les Remparts, the Golden Beef offers a delightful recovery moment, combining a true cocktail bar and about everything high range meat cooking can offer. In this temple of beef, I picked up the Friday's special: all fish. It was equally delicious.

The meat was high quality and the dish was beautifully presented. The bartenders did a fantastic job with excellent cocktails and were very friendly, but I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because the woman who greeted us at the entrance was clearly having an off day… but when you pay €700 for a table, a smile and courtesy are the bare minimum you should expect in return…

We stopped for the daily special at €16.90, written on a chalkboard at the entrance... once seated, we were told they'd been out for a while. Why not just remove the chalkboard then? We ended up ordering from the menu. The hamburger we chose, around €30, was pretty standard, served with either fries OR salad...🤔 Honestly, at that price, you're not going to go broke offering both, especially considering the portion sizes... it very rarely happens to me, but I had to take a stomach stabilizer twice afterward 😵💫... maybe try their Wagyu beef at €50/100g or other meat specialties?🤔

Chaotic service. I ordered a picanha... the meat was very tough. I had to ask for a change, which was accepted, but we ate at different times. By the time my new dish arrived, the sauce I ordered was cold, as was the side dish. I had to ask for a new sauce; the waiter could perhaps have thought of that. As for the fries, I didn't dare ask... For a bill of €109, it's really not great!
I had a previous experience there which was very good, but I don't think I'll be going back.
