I found the welcome friendly, and the meal good value for money. The fries were excellent, as were the green and yellow beans with herbs. On the downside, I didn't particularly enjoy the complimentary green salad, as it was too vinegary for my taste. It's also a shame that some desserts have been removed from the menu, especially the Tiramisu, which I thought was excellent. I mentioned this to the manager and hope you'll bring it back on the new seasonal menu.

It's not haute cuisine, but it's very good. The service is friendly and welcoming, and you can eat quite well for a reasonable price! The lamb shank casserole is really excellent.

The Smoking Dog Pub

09/04/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic, the Guinness is excellent, and the location is superb. It has the feel of a real pub.
31/03/2026: Really nice pub. Great atmosphere. Well located. But drinking iced tea for 4 euros (approximately) from the bottom of a plastic bottle is just okay... and the taste is just okay. Wouldn't it be better in a small glass bottle?

07/04/2026: I 100% approve of this kebab! 🔥 As a Turk myself, I can definitely recommend this place. The meat is homemade and the spit-roasted meat is prepared with care; you can taste the difference. 🥙🇹🇷 The kebab is generous, well-seasoned, and the ingredients are fresh—nothing like those mass-produced kebabs. The service is friendly, and the quality is excellent. For me, it's clearly one of the best kebabs in Lyon; I highly recommend it!
18/03/2026: I come here regularly at lunchtime when I'm working, about once or twice a week, and honestly, there's nothing negative to say—it's excellent! The staff is very professional and incredibly friendly. The food is delicious. The prices are really reasonable. Keep up the good work, it's perfect!
