We loved it! It had been 20 years since I'd been to a Courte Paille restaurant. This one was really good. Meat cooked over an open fire was incredibly tender. Starters were only €3. Great atmosphere and service too. Perfect for families.

The Smoking Dog Pub

09/04/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic, the Guinness is excellent, and the location is superb. It has the feel of a real pub.
31/03/2026: Really nice pub. Great atmosphere. Well located. But drinking iced tea for 4 euros (approximately) from the bottom of a plastic bottle is just okay... and the taste is just okay. Wouldn't it be better in a small glass bottle?

07/04/2026: I 100% approve of this kebab! 🔥 As a Turk myself, I can definitely recommend this place. The meat is homemade and the spit-roasted meat is prepared with care; you can taste the difference. 🥙🇹🇷 The kebab is generous, well-seasoned, and the ingredients are fresh—nothing like those mass-produced kebabs. The service is friendly, and the quality is excellent. For me, it's clearly one of the best kebabs in Lyon; I highly recommend it!
18/03/2026: I come here regularly at lunchtime when I'm working, about once or twice a week, and honestly, there's nothing negative to say—it's excellent! The staff is very professional and incredibly friendly. The food is delicious. The prices are really reasonable. Keep up the good work, it's perfect!
