Truly a must-visit in Obernai... in addition to magnificent and delicious pastries... they make a huge selection of sandwiches, salads, and more... a special mention for their cookies and plain doughnuts (my daughter only wants those)... and of course, the service is absolutely fantastic.

Excellent pastries, especially the bread and viennoiseries which keep perfectly for the next day. The saleswomen are always smiling and offer helpful advice.

What a great find! We stumbled upon this tea room, which has a Gault&Millau guide rating. A full selection, from savory to sweet. Excellent value for money. Absolutely fantastic!

We love this place. Today wife had a rum cake. I had a chocolate, hazelnut piece of goodness and we got a raspberry custard tart too. They were all great. Wife said the rum cake alone was worth the plane ride from the US.

McDonald's

15/10/2026: This McDonald's is appalling! We waited ages to be served, and then the waiter spilled my fries right in front of me and almost spilled my Coke. As for cleanliness, don't even get me started. The toilets are a mess; it feels like everyone's urinating next to them, and they're never cleaned. You're almost afraid to go in. And the dining area? Not a single clean table. And when they ask you to clean yours, they say, "I forgot to come!" So, I definitely don't recommend McDonald's Obernai.
19/09/2026: McDonald's meals have become very expensive. They cost the same as a daily special in a restaurant. It's deplorable for such junk food.
