Gus Restaurant sur Saint-Remy-De-Provence

We had a very good dinner with friends at this lovely restaurant. We were warmly greeted and shown to our very comfortable table with nice big chairs to sit and relax in. Our waiter was very good and also spoke very good English which made things easier for us. We started with a selection of oysters which were fabulous and super fresh, accompanied by a nice bottle of Deutz champagne. I had the blue lobster which was a special of the day with roast potatoes and salad. The lobster was cooked perfectly, lovely and moist and tasty with a nice garlic/ persilade marinade/ dressing. Our wonderful waiter also recommended a very good local Rose which we all won. My wife and friends also very much enjoyed their meals and it make a great occasion for catching up with our best friends.

We found the meal just good but not amazing. My husband enjoyed his duck dish though the hanger steak fell a bit flat. The bernaise sauce is not at all what we expected...it was more like a hard butter/paste than a sauce. I wish I had known that prior to ordering as I definitely would have chosen something else.

They've moved, and the new space is superb. Excellent food! (We're not as fond of the desserts.) Outstanding wine list. Competent and helpful staff. One of the few restaurants in Saint-Remy worth recommending.

A quaint and beautiful setting set away from all the traffic. Everyone was so nice and professional. Our food was amazing with surprise flavors and all fresh ingredients. This restaurant is a must when visiting St Remy. One of the best in town.

We had a lovely evening. We were able to take our time enjoying the aperitifs. For starters, we had gravlax salmon. For our main course, we had sea bass fillet and hanger steak. For dessert, we had pastries. Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly. Top-notch restaurant, we highly recommend it.

We were just a couple of starving tourists… 😄 and honestly, we had a fantastic meal! Everything was delicious, and the staff were absolutely lovely, smiling, friendly, and attentive. It was such a pleasure! And then… the giant profiterole! 🤤 It was amazing! Simply the best profiterole I've ever eaten. The pastry was incredible, with the ice cream, chocolate, and whipped cream… Pure bliss, as beautiful to look at as it was delicious to eat! In short, a wonderful place where we had a fantastic time. We left completely satisfied and with only one desire: to come back! 😋 Thank you for this wonderful experience 💕

Our time at Brasserie GUS was absolutely lovely... a relaxed outdoor setting, delicious meal and impeccable service that will stay with us in memory for quite some time! The quality of our food was excellent and attention to detail regarding dietary needs/ allergies was phenomenal (which is extremely important). We highly recommend!
