Fantastic experience! The Hippopotamus in Béziers offers a warm welcome, fast and friendly service, and generous, delicious food. The meats are well-prepared, the side dishes are varied, and the atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for a meal with family or friends. 🍷🥗

Hello, Honestly, I don't think it's cool that we were charged extra for sauces (béarnaise, etc.) when it wasn't mentioned in our order.

The meal was very good, but despite the sign stating that a €5 discount is given upon presentation of cinema tickets, the discount was refused at the checkout, the reason given being that it was only valid in the evening. This wasn't mentioned on the sign. A second problem was that the loyalty card doesn't work at this restaurant; again, there was no indication of this. So, no extra points were added to the card. As I found this rather unpleasant, the bill was given a 10% discount. What I can't tolerate is being presented with a fait accompli. I won't be going back.
