Restaurant très agréable. Super accueil par un jeune serveur et un petit repas plutôt bon dans l'ensemble. Tartare et frites.. peut être pas assez mais tout était bon. Le jeune serveur était très pro, un bon point. Prix bien adapté. Rien à dire !

A friendly restaurant with very good, efficient, friendly and smiling service. Dogfriendly restaurant that accepts big dogs! A bowl of water was immediately brought. Burgers and desserts good. Correct addition. Parasol installed as needed. Without a doubt, we will come back!

I recommend that you come and eat because the staff are extremely friendly towards the customer. I highly recommend this place and Mathias who served us with remarkable kindness.

All the dishes were excellent and the service was top notch. Special mention for the waiter Joris, extremely friendly, patient and attentive, even though we were with two young children. A big thanks to him.

It was really great ! The team is great and above all we were welcomed like queens. The restaurant is very clean and the servers are very pleasant. I highly recommend the Smahburger which was absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back :)

De passage à Saint Médard en Jalles nous avons déjeuner chez HIPPOPOTAMUS. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris. Très bon accueil. Plats très bons. Brochette de bœuf et magret de canard parfaits. Légumes au choix et à volonté : nous avons pris plusieurs légumes différents : aucun supplément ! Café gourmand bien copieux. Ne changez rien

18/07/2024: We were traveling and we were looking for a bar to have a drink and celebrate. Martin is an excellent bartender, attentive, and prepared some fantastic coreles. The atmosphere on the terrace and the place was incredible, we ended up making many friends!
23/06/2024: I went there during the music festival, the atmosphere was friendly and the staff very friendly. I don't know if it was the context that influenced my experience but it was good!
