A very good experience at Hippopotamus! The restaurant is pleasant, the atmosphere is friendly, and the food was delicious. The staff is smiling and professional. Special mention to Saënz, who was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. A pleasant person, attentive, and who truly takes the time to look after customers well. Excellent value for money, lovely waiters and waitresses! We came with a baby, they were very kind and we had everything we needed to have a pleasant and stress-free time!

If we're bothering them… well, we'll go somewhere else next time! That's what I thought to myself today at Hippopotamus, when the waitress, a woman of a certain age with glasses and a small ponytail, brushed me off. I had just very politely asked her, apologizing for bothering her, to bring my 4-year-old grandson his chocolate mousse, "please," because he was sleepy and we had to leave. She sharply retorted that "the establishment was short-staffed and there were only three of them to serve," and that we would have to wait, and that was that. I must admit I found that very inappropriate. The young woman at the till, by the way, was just as embarrassed as I was and tried to smooth over her colleague's unpleasant remark with a smile. This incident somewhat spoiled my enjoyment of the moment. Elisabeth.
