I visited on a day when the shelves were filled with Easter egg chocolates. It is an honor to visit this traditional chocolate shop. As a tourist, I couldn't buy much, so I just picked out a little bit of everything to eat for a day or two, apologizing for bothering you. Thank you for treating me so kindly. Each flavor was distinctive and rich.

Arbois, Jura region There's a world-class chocolatier there. Seriously amazing. Absolutely amazing. They used to have a shop in Japan, but the import agent was so bad they had to withdraw. You have no choice but to go to Arbois. The best is here.

A wide selection of chocolates and pastries, each more beautiful than the last. The chocolates are truly exceptional. It's a bit pricey, but you have to treat yourself sometimes. The saleswoman we dealt with was very pleasant and helpful.

A quick visit to Arbois, with the desire to rediscover Hirsinger chocolates. A real treat for the delicate flavors and sometimes daring combinations. However, there were three of us trying to identify the chocolates we had chosen. We had to rely on our visual memory! It was a slightly awkward moment of sharing because our taste preferences were so different. So please, remember to include photos on your chocolate bar! 😃

16/07/2026: Hello, while passing through Arbois for a visit, we were looking for a simple restaurant and stumbled upon Le Petit Jurassien. Admittedly, it's far from the gourmet or bistro-style cuisine that's so abundant in the region. But here you'll find home-style cooking, which I believe is prepared with passion. The price/quality ratio is excellent, the service is pleasant and quite accommodating as long as you're pleasant (I mention this because of some rather negative reviews about the staff's behavior). Although I'm not a regular, I found this restaurant lived up to our expectations, and that's why I recommend it. For those looking for a restaurant with sophisticated dishes... this isn't the place for you; it's about heartfelt cuisine and friendly, family-style service that's approachable without being intrusive.
