Honoré has long been my favorite neighborhood restaurant in Paris. it’s like your favourite old sweater. We lived near it for 10 years and now when we return to Paris - once or twice a year - we make it a point to go and we are still remembered.

This is a classic French neighborhood restaurant in the best sense of the term, traditional Parisian dishes without frills but well done, such as the excellent ravioles du Dauphiné with foie gras, the rognons (kidneys), and the duck confit, friendly service, good wine list, excellent value for money, you can never go wrong there, especially at that price point.

Following our visit to this restaurant, despite the fact that the dishes were quite well cooked, we left dissatisfied with the service which far from being warm was haughty and unpleasant, arriving at 8 p.m. with reservation we were served around 9 p.m. and this by calling the servers several times, the accidental chimney fire which created a disturbance for everyone happened well after our arrival, and customers who arrived after us had been served before us, it's stupid because the whole concept had us well attracted at the start..

The fireplace gives a warm and cozy atmosphere. Delicious French cuisine, like succulent veal kidneys in cream. Huge quantity of profiteroles for dessert. I recommend - the only downside is that it's a little tight

Tasteless ravioli with uncooked cream, just reheat and too watery
Pumpkin cream too thick. Rib steak good but the powdered pepper sauce too strong.
For the tiramisu, no taste of mascarpone, made with whipped cream and too dry. A real tiramisu is made with egg whites and more mascarpone.
Friendly and very welcoming waiters.
This is the second disappointment. There won't be three.

The unpretentious cosyness of the place and the kindness of the staff, together with fairly enjoyable food made it the right choice for two evenings in a row. Loved by locals, you can't go wrong.
