A real treat!!! We were a table of 19, and we were served quickly and courteously, with a smile. The outdoor setting (terrace) was so pleasant. The cassoulet was simply delicious, the beans perfectly cooked, the meat so tender, and the dessert (nougat glacé) was also a great success. And to top it all off, even the bread was good quality! LOL A truly lovely place for a top-quality cassoulet; thank you all.

What a wonderful discovery this summer! Ahhh... Cassoulet. My mother (who's from the region) makes it very well. Yours is delicious. There were five of us, and one of the two dishes was a little dry, but still good. The ingredients are top quality. Thank you, Hostellerie Étienne! 🙏😊

An exceptional place... traditional cuisine, a cassoulet so delicious, you could even say it's THE best in France! Everything is good, from the appetizer to the dessert, simple yet flavorful and made with love. The owners are passionate and incredibly kind... Camille, with her cheerful disposition and smile, it's such a pleasure to see someone like her!! Thank you for everything, finally a place we can't wait to return to every time and that we recommend from Ariège to Savoie!

A wonderful time shared with friends. We ate well and without waiting. Everything was homemade and the staff were welcoming and friendly. A very pleasant moment enjoying an absolutely delicious cassoulet! ☺️☺️

The cassoulet was good; we come here every time we're in La Bastide d'Anjou. But this time we were disappointed, not by the food, but by the fact that we're non-smokers. We couldn't enjoy the terrace because some smokers were blowing their smoke around us while we were eating, which was very unpleasant. Others were more civilized and smoked away from the others. Under the pretext that the terrace is public, management didn't intervene. It's a shame; they should provide two separate areas so that non-smokers aren't penalized.

24/08/2026: The service was excellent, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the setting truly superb, especially by the canal. The wine was also very good. However, I was a little disappointed with the food, which really wasn't to my taste. But I should point out that it's acceptable for a €33 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert). The gravlax salmon was fluorescent pink, very salty, and smoky: ultimately quite far from what I expect from gravlax. The same goes for the cassoulet: much, much too salty. And finally, the vanilla ice cream didn't impress me either: a very bright yellow color and a taste that really didn't taste high-quality. In the end, it's a shame, because everything else was there for a wonderful experience: a very pretty setting, a lovely table, good wine, and above all, very pleasant service. In such a location, right in the heart of the Lauragais region, I would have truly loved to see French and Toulouse cuisine showcased more prominently, with ingredients and preparations worthy of our region and its gastronomic heritage. A rather mixed experience for me: the setting and service were excellent, but the food was less so.

27/08/2024: Les plats sont généreux et délicieux. On s'est régalé.😃 Le cadre est agréable. Écoute, disponibilité et sourire, pour le service, sont venus compléter parfaitement ce moment. 👏
31/07/2024: En couple, avec des amis ou des membres de notre Confrérie, nous nous rendons régulièrement dans cet établissement qui propose certainement le meilleur cassoulet, de la région. Service impeccable, cadre agréable, rapport qualité prix, tout est parfait! Nous ne comprenons pas certains avis très négatif surtout lorsqu'ils font référence à une entreprise spécialisé dans la conserve. Comparer un produit frais aux ingrédients du terroir, mijotés avec un véritable savoir faire avec un cassoulet en conserve où les saucisses sont fumées sans confit de canard avec de la tomate et des stabilisants, on est dans le hors sol ! Nous avons encore la chance de pouvoir encore manger dans quelques rares lieux privilégiés, où la cuisine est élaborée dans la plus grande tradition, soyons respectueux avant tout!
