Hotel de France Restaurant sur Contres

I came with family for 4 nights. First time in this hotel. Apparently change of ownership recently. What can I say about this hotel? Let's start with the positive: Warm welcome and smile Hotel a little dated but which exudes a certain charm. (you be the judge) Small and cozy restaurant room This is what I remembered. Let's move on to the negative and sorry but the list will be longer. The main thing will be on the hygiene of the room and there are complaints Very dusty bedroom spot filled with insect corpses. Painting hanging on bed filled with dust Very average heated air conditioning. I pushed it all the way due to the rain, the cold even at 30 degrees it was more brazing of air Let's go to the bathroom Shower tray with black reflection (with bleach it becomes white again) Shower glass not cleaned (Trace of water and soap) Shower head fixed on the verge of falling and dust on it for a while Very rickety wall cup holder Integrated hairdryer not usable (Do not work) Toilet very average state of cleanliness I hope that the owners will do what is necessary to bring themselves up to standard (3*) Another slightly negative point The restaurant waitresses shocked me a little with their attitude towards customers. (Trouble, laugh with them like your friend) Unless I must be too old school. So sorry for all that I wish you the best for the future and that you rise. But 69 euros the price of the night and which is your lowest price you are far from it.

Hotel near the Beauval zoo, very clean room even if the decor is a little dated but the new owners have not completed the work. The welcome is excellent both from the owners and the waitress.

The swimming pool was not there but the hostess bends over backwards to satisfy you.

Hotel close to the Beauval zoo park. Spacious room but dated decor. Tiny bathroom. Warm welcome, the staff are charming and smiling.

Very dark room and it was very hot inside. It's a shame because the staff are very pleasant. Breakfast is complete

We stayed 1 night to go to the Beauval zoo. The rooms are quite good the only downside is that the WiFi is not at all stable for the back rooms and that there are no sockets on both sides of the bed... otherwise very good the small lunch is perfect, a small fault on our part who did not pay attention that lunch was not included in the reservation (+12.50€/pers) the restaurant in the evening is quite special (local specialty you have to like ) I recommend !

Idéalement situé pour se rendre au zoo de Beauval. Personnel accueillant et très serviable. Chambres triple spacieuse, salle de bain avec baignoire😉, parking privé et cours intérieure au calme. un rafraîchissement de la déco serait un plus.

Proche Zoo de Beauval. Personnel très sympathique. Toutefois, la literie n'est pas top, les chambres mériteraient un gros rafraîchissement, ainsi que la partie extérieure. WiFi annoncé lors de la réservation mais connection vraiment pas stable.

Mon compagnon, ma fille de deux ans et moi-même avons dormi une nuit dans cet hôtel afin de nous rendre au zoo de Beauval le lendemain. Nous avions réservé une chambre sur Booking qui devait être climatisée. Malheureusement, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous nous sommes rendu compte qu'il n'y avait que deux ventilateurs (un pour chaque lit) alors que la chaleur intérieure était très importante. De plus, les fenêtres étant relativement basses, nous ne pouvions les ouvrir la nuit de peur que notre fille ait l'idée de les escalader. La dame de l'accueil nous a expliqué que c'était une erreur sur Booking, nous a remboursé une partie de la chambre et nous a offert les petits-déjeuners. Nous avons également croisé au moins deux autres membres du personnel (peut-être de la famille aussi ?). Tous se sont montrés très souriants et accueillants, avec toujours un gentil mot pour notre fille. Enfin, les chambres étaient très propres. Il faudrait toutefois penser, lors des prochains travaux, à sécuriser les fenêtres pour les jeunes enfants.
