The rooms are charming but a bit small. Nothing serious considering the location, the surroundings, being so close to the beach, but also and especially the warm welcome and the excellent restaurant.

We didn't try the hotel, but the restaurant was perfect: a bucolic setting, a warm and friendly welcome, and an efficient, professional, and very pleasant waitress. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Highly recommended.

Hotel de la Plage in Cap Ferret, absolutely fantastic. First time trying oysters and caviar together, a real discovery. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. Impeccable service, the waitress attentive to every detail. A view of the water as a bonus. A place to discover! 🔥

It's admittedly a bit pricey, but we ate very well. Good service, no wait.
I've been coming to L'Herbe for 51 years, and I'm a little ashamed to say it, but this was only my second time here; the last time was 40 years ago. We'll be back.

The restaurant staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service.
The meal was equally impressive; the tuna tartare and sole meunière were superb.

We are long-time regulars at the Hôtel de la Plage and found the renovation convincing. The tapas menu is very pleasant and can be enjoyed on the dedicated terrace.
Our only slight reservation is that the service in the restaurant didn't particularly impress us, and the prices seemed a bit high.
We will return for the tapas, for the beauty of the Arcachon Basin at the end of the day, and for the fond memories associated with this unspoiled place.
