We had a very good evening, the waiters were smiling and very pleasant, the meal was exquisite, from starters to dessert, it was a real treat. An option is offered for vegetarians and unlike usual the vegetarian dish was as good and well presented as the other dishes. We marveled at the beauty of the dessert and the taste was there too. It was a pleasure to eat at this restaurant, we will come back. Thanks again to all the team, congratulations to the kitchen team.

Great restaurant. Inventive seasonal dishes with local ingredients. We discovered this in 2022 and come here whenever we stay in the area. Each meal becomes an unforgettable experience finished by succulent desserts. Sure to return here as often as possible.

A top gastronomy in the region, at a fair and affordable price (including the wine list)! Very tasty food in a pleasant and casual atmosphere with very attentive service. Definitely come back!

Super goed gegeten in rustige tuin/binnenplaats van het hotel. Kaart ziet er goed uit. We hebben menu signatuur genomen. Keuze uit drie voor, hoofd en na gerechten. Goede wijnkaart. Gerechten zagen er goed uit en top op smaak. Wat mij betreft lekkerste restaurant in de omgeving.

10/09/2024: Very good pastry which caught our eye as we passed by. The window is very tempting We tasted several cakes at reasonable prices for handmade cakes. We had a fruit tea 🍇 with real dried fruit The interior is cozy and refined Negative point that we notice in some tourist villages is the price of ice cream A banana split costs 12.50 euros and it can go up to 14 euros for a Liège chocolate!!! I find the price of ice cream to be excessive!!!!!!😡 In short, the delicious pastries our taste buds were delighted Price from 3.50 euros per piece to 5 euros

Restaurant l'hippocampe

07/08/2024: Wat blijft dit toch een fantastisch klein restaurant, net 50 meter buiten de drukte van de Bastide, eigenaren heel vriendelijk en het eten, het eten is zo vers en heerlijk bereid. Deze keer kreeft en fruit de mer, heerlijke biologische Muscadet erbij en genieten maar.
30/06/2024: Spent 1 night in Villereal and had dinner at this small restaurant. Mainly fish dishes on the menu however the food was fresh and cooked to order. We had oysters, prawns and turbot. There are a number of restaurants in Villeral however I would recommend this one.
