Hôtel Dieu sur Sarlat-La-Caneda

We were a group of 40 people and had an evening meal in this restaurant during our stay in Sarlat We appreciated: - the menu, duck confit with orange and fine apple tart, accompanied by Bergerac. Very good cuisine. - the very beautiful upstairs room (served by an elevator) and the arrangement of the tables - and above all the welcome, availability and professionalism of the staff

We chose this place for its magnificent patio, quiet and a little away from the street. For dinner, we can only share with you our disappointment: Foie gras as a very bland starter, so I asked for fleur de sel which I was unable to obtain..., so I ate it as it was. what! Following the risotto: Which only had the name (very dry and tasteless) We didn't even finish it. To finish, a lemon tart, which can be found in all the local pastry shops. So disappointed!!! However, the place was charming and recommended by the owner of our hotel.

Good welcome, good meal, good service and top decor

We had dinner at this restaurant on the advice of our hotel manager: we were not disappointed. The dishes are succulent, duck leg confit with orange for me, shank with old-fashioned mustard for my husband, we enjoyed ourselves, some might say that the portions are small but I assure you that we were well satisfied. (Special mention for the Marrakech iced tea which was very refreshing.) And what about the desserts which were just as exquisite, tasty without being too sweet, it was the best final touch we could have to finish our dinner. I advise you to book online because being very well located, the restaurant can fill up quickly. Despite the gunshot, we were served quickly, the staff were wonderful even if they seemed a little underwater: we feel that they want to make the experience pleasant for all customers. Competent, smiling, professional and very friendly, we were very happy to have been served by this team. I highly recommend. :)

We ate on the terrace, it was just magnificent. Very beautiful setting. The server was very pleasant.
