Hotel Dontenville sur Chatenois

Beautiful heritage hotel in a beautiful town. Despite arriving late we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff who made sure we had the best possible experience. We could park our car for free in the car park next to the hotel . The rooms were comfortable and cosy, the staircase is magnificent with lots of delightful historical features. The restaurant on site is very pleasant where we had a very tasty breakfast. It's a great spot for families, our children loved the hotel and we had a unique experience learning about the history and practicing french. The owners gave us a lot of great tips for sightseeing in Alsace and we ended up having a great holiday. Thank you!

This is the place to be! A very charming and cozy inn at the heart of the dreamy Chatenois. It is so pretty all around, the bed is super comfortable, amazing views, very warm and attentive staff. Loved every minute here.

We stayed in an apartment across from the hotel and one night we had dinner delivered. The tarte flambée was delicious, the salad was fresh, and the ingredients were excellent. The waiter was very friendly and made everything easy for us. The place is lovely, cozy, and well-decorated. Definitely a great place to stop.
