Hotel Les Prodains sur Morzine

A lovely family run hotel in a perfect location right at the bottom of the Prodains Express lift. We have stayed here 4 times now, and it’s always a lovely stay. The whole family work really hard to ensure that their guests have a great stay. The restaurant is excellent with lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The heated outdoor pool was opened this year too, which is a fantastic addition to an already great hotel. See you next year ⛷️

Good coffee while waiting for the bus

We had a very pleasant stay at Les Prodains. There were few French guests, but many English. The hotel's cuisine is generous, well-balanced, and beautifully presented, and we enjoyed our dinners as we were on half-board. The staff is friendly, and the owner is very present. The room is comfortable and quiet; however, the small shelves instead of bedside tables are very cramped. The housekeeping staff was excellent. One drawback, though: there's no elevator. For elderly people, carrying luggage and climbing stairs isn't always easy. The location is rather isolated and lacks activities; you have to take the bus (a 15-minute free shuttle ride) to get to the village and go for walks. However, the ski lifts are nearby for skiing.

I stayed four days at Le Hameau des Prodains and I absolutely don't regret my choice. The hotel's warm, family atmosphere truly charmed me. The chef's meals were delicious, not to mention the excellent burgers at L'Adresse, ideally located right at the foot of the slopes. It's hard to miss the hotel's idyllic setting, perfectly situated for skiing or visiting Avoriaz.

Excellent restaurant at the bottom of the slopes, the trout dish is delicious, as are the profiteroles for dessert!

Wow! What an amazing stay! We stayed at Hôtel Les Prodains with my husband and our two children (11 and 13 years old) for a full week during ski season—we spent Christmas here—and everything was absolutely ideal. The location is a dream: the hotel is less than 50 metres from the Prodains Express lift, which takes you straight up to Avoriaz. It couldn’t be more convenient. The hotel feels newly built—everything is beautifully maintained, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with practicality in mind. Breakfast is delicious, and dinners are the real highlight: the owner is an outstanding chef, and every meal felt like a treat. A truly wonderful place—we would happily return!

A classic choice for a day of skiing in Avo, away from the crowds. Excellent service. The food is superb and the portions are generous. The prices are (in my opinion) high.
