What a special place to stay! The architecture, the design of the rooms, the lovely staff... all worth it. Of course the chance to try the restaurant should not be missed, it is absolutely superb. Stayed here twice now and will surely come back.

A truly wonderful gastronomic experience. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The foie gras appetizer was simply divine, while the langoustine appetizer delighted us with its freshness. The veal was cooked to perfection. Its deliciously fragrant jus, enhanced with subtle hints of acidity, brought out all the flavors of the dish. A restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend!

Despite a spacious room with a separate toilet and bathroom, our stay was mixed. The bedding lacked firmness (the mattress was very soft) and the linens weren't very pleasant. Furthermore, the bathroom only had a (rather old) bathtub without a shower screen, making the floor particularly slippery after use if you're not careful. Breakfast lacked local products... and variety.

This is our fourth visit, and it's always an exceptional experience. From the welcome to the cuisine, the service, and the little touches, everything is truly perfect. I recommend it 100% without hesitation. I've included a few photos to illustrate the different plating styles.

Great restaurant! Excellent lunch menu for under €100 all-inclusive. Traditional service. Well done! I drove 200 km and it was worth the trip.

A truly wonderful discovery in Chamalières. From the moment you step inside, you're captivated: the 1930s Art Deco décor, entirely inspired by the world of radio, lends the place a rare elegance and a warm atmosphere. We opted for the summer menu, and every dish was a delight. The foie gras with its accompanying French toast was exquisite, the langoustine tartare was exquisitely delicate, and the perfectly cooked sea bass demonstrated impeccable technique. The Auvergne cheese platter was a beautiful tribute to the region, before we finished with a dessert that was as beautiful as it was delicious. To top it all off, a trolley of homemade petits fours was offered: a thoughtful touch that made all the difference. Refined cuisine, attentive service, and an exceptional setting. An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will return with great pleasure.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I don't want to harm the chef... We had three €129 set menus on June 18th for lunch. We enjoyed the meal, but we were served by, among others, a lady and a gentleman of a certain age whom we found rather gloomy, with a mechanical demeanor, no warm interaction with the customer, and not a single smile. The aperitif glass of champagne was served without anything to nibble on with it; I had to ask for something after half an hour, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive. As an apology, they topped up the glass of champagne we had started drinking while it was still chilled. In short... how to conclude?... a very cold and soulless atmosphere.

Didn't try the restaurant. But the hotel was very decent and the rooms were comfortable.
