Absolutely fantastic place. The cakes are delicious and there's something for everyone, although the lemon meringue cake remains my favorite. I also found the savory dishes very tasty, with an excellent balance of vegetables.
And to top it all off, the service was friendly and attentive!

I go there regularly and it's always the same: well-made products, good value for money, and an owner who takes the time to chat. If you're ever in Royat, don't hesitate to stop by Le Marquis!

Lovely place.
We stopped for 20 minutes for a quick snack and it was perfect. A wide selection of pastries, sandwiches, and ice cream.
The staff was very friendly.
If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

I discovered this place in May 2025; their dishes were incredibly well-crafted, complete, and generous. This year I'm returning to this town partly for Le Marquis de Royat, which is still just as good. The quality/nutritional balance/price ratio is excellent, with a daily special for under €10.
Thank you! The people of Royat are lucky to have you.

Thank you for this wonderful time, for my older sister's birthday which she was delighted with, as were our other guests.
The charcuterie and cheese board, elegantly presented, and the little surprise tastings were a delight for the taste buds.
The service was impeccable, the chef was friendly. Thank you all for this lovely atmosphere. See you soon.
