Oasis of peace. In a very beautiful setting and close to Italy. The lake offers many possibilities for sports lovers. The hotel swimming pool is not large but very pleasant after the sauna. Massage done by competent girls. A true moment of relaxation

France 🇫🇷 hotel near Lake Serre-Ponçon During my recent August 2024 visit to the picturesque region near Lake Serre-Ponçon in France, I stayed one night at La Robéyère Hotel. While the property has its charms, it falls short of a four-star rating, aligning more closely with a solid three-star experience. Room and Comfort The views from the hotel are undeniably beautiful, offering a serene backdrop for a relaxing stay. However, the standard rooms are disappointingly small, ranging from 7 to 9 square meters. These compact spaces are more akin to mid-sized mudrooms and are unsuitable for double occupancy despite the presence of a full-sized bed. The lack of air conditioning exacerbates the discomfort, especially during the summer months when temperatures can soar into the high 20s and low 30s Celsius. This made our stay unbearable, prompting us to cut our originally planned four-night stay short. Spa and Dining The spa at La Robéyère is a delightful retreat. Although it is small, the time slots provided allow for a pleasant and rejuvenating experience. The hotel's restaurant stands out as one of the stronger dining options in the area, offering a commendable culinary experience. Location and Activities The hotel's location is decent but not ideal for runners. Guests should be prepared to navigate a stretch of road for about a kilometer before reaching the town and accessing safer walking paths. This can be a bit daunting and detracts from the overall convenience of the location. In summary, La Robéyère Hotel offers great views and a pleasant spa experience, but the small, hot rooms and lack of air conditioning significantly impact the comfort of the stay. While the restaurant is a highlight, the overall experience falls short of four-star hotel expectations.

Wonderful, really calm and the swimming pool, the Hammam, the spa and the Norwegian Bath was just perfect.

We feel good there, we sleep well, we eat well there The relaxation spa area (indoor swimming pool/sauna/hammam/treatment/solarium...) is the most beautiful I have seen in France thanks to its outdoor Nordic bath seen on the mountain in XXXXL format The breakfast is out of the category, it was so good and well presented A 4* place as desired and for fair value for money ✌️🙏🏽🤙 Look at the photos and book

Perfect, welcome, service, room, breakfast

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment, en terrasse avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes et un très bon accueil du personnel. Le brunch était délicieux, des produits frais avec une belle variété dans les entrées. Pour suivre en plat chaud un quasi de veau aux cèpes à la cuisson parfaite (il y avait aussi du poisson) avec de délicieuses garnitures. En dessert un large choix de produits régionaux, des pâtisseries « maison » avec une tarte au citron à tomber par terre ! Nul doute qu’un dimanche midi, nous reviendrons !

Belle découverte à Embrun que ce restaurant dans un cadre magnifique. Les mets, les coktails et le vin que nous avons dégustés ont été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Le service a été excellent malgré une difficulté en personnel de dernière minute. A recommander.
