As part of a group sporting activity, we were able to enjoy a relaxing stay at this well-located hotel near the train station and a walking and recreation area. A good dinner was served in the evening, and breakfast was excellent. The rooms are pleasant and well-designed. Personally, I had no problems at all. Thank you to the managers.

The hotel is ideally located: close to the historic center, next to the leisure park and the tourist train station. It has private parking, and a large parking lot is also located just a few meters away. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. We had a very good dinner, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful.

Our group received a very warm welcome during the Ambertrail 2026. The rooms are clean and have all the essential amenities. Dinner was excellent, and the owners are friendly and very accommodating. A pleasant surprise for those who aren't looking for a 5-star experience at any price.

17/07/2026: The pool is always lovely, but I'm surprised to see green streaks on the walls at the deepest point. Algae? I've always seen this pool extremely clean, but it seems the recent heatwave has taken its toll.
25/06/2026: A huge thank you to the entire team at the Ambert Livradois-Forez swimming pool for staying open all week during this heatwave. The fact that entry is free is a wonderful initiative that allows everyone to enjoy some relief from the heat. A great initiative, thank you! The pool is clean, as are the corridors and changing rooms. Everything is well-maintained and the staff is welcoming and helpful. We are fortunate to have such a large, clean, and renovated swimming pool. This isn't the case everywhere. It was a bit of a shame to see some young people lingering in the showers for a long time without even washing, when everyone should be more considerate, especially with the high temperatures and the risk of water shortages. Thank you again to the whole team for your hard work and dedication.

02/04/2026: A very pleasant stay at this hotel located in the center of Ambert. Room (10) is spacious with excellent bedding and a large bathroom. Add to that a delicious restaurant and a warm welcome (despite what the naysayers might say). Thank you.
