A very beautiful, welcoming and pleasant place

We had a lovely long weekend in beautiful Brantome, a truly stunning little French town. This small hotel is exceptional, the host were very welcoming, the Chef has made some very interesting selections for the menu and really knows what he is doing, real skill and care. The rooms comfortable and modern and the price is very fair for such good quality. Highly recomended

From the moment we set foot in the front door, Julien and his team made us feel welcome and cared for. Exceptional rooms, even better food, and the finest service we've experienced in France. Merci beaucoup for a wonderful stay.

We had a delightful couple of nights here on our way to the Pyrenees. Des Chouchou is ideally situated for all the delights of Brantôme. We had room 2 which was spotlessly clean along with its facilities. There was plenty of room for a game of backgammon along with our gear. We ate in one night, which was a mistake, we really should’ve eaten in both nights. The food was fantastic, the best meal we’ve had in years. Really interesting, tasty and well sized portions. Louise said the figs was her favourite dessert ever! It could not have been better, except for its absence on Tuesday! Breakfast was great too, with lovely dried and fresh fruit. All in all, I hope we can come back again and if you’re reading this I highly recommend that you visit.
