Ibis Styles sur Besancon

The staff is very friendly, the rooms and bedding are average high for Ibis styles. But I don't understand the concept of putting phosphorescent linoleum in the rooms? It's unnecessary and unpleasant.

Hotel of the Accor group we therefore find the standards of this type of hotel. The room is spacious and well appointed, the breakfast is OK but lacks a bit of choice (fruit, local preparation, etc.) The restaurant is quite good with a varied menu with a nice outdoor address near the swimming pool. Finally, regarding reception, the teams are young and do not yet have all the reflexes. It has the essentials but no frills.

Four of us stayed in this hotel as a family and received an offer with a discounted second double room. Breakfast was included in the room rate. We were warmly welcomed at reception and were able to communicate in English. The rooms were clean and odorless. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was extensive and tasty by French standards. Free parking possible in a cordoned off parking lot.

Booked the hotel for an overnight stay based on the reviews. Rooms are clean and sufficient for one night. Corridors to the room, as well as the stairs, have very unpleasant smells. Breakfast was OK. It's a few meters to walk to the city.

Pleasant stay, clean rooms, attractively furnished but unfortunately a bit noisy. Rich breakfast buffet, very good for French standards. Everything was sufficiently available and was constantly replenished. It's more of a holiday hotel, lots of families and turbulent. If you're looking for peace and quiet, it might be too lively here. Hotel is in a quiet location, no traffic noise. Safe parking as the entrance is secured with a barrier and can only be opened with a code. About 3 km from the old town, it took about half an hour to walk but it was a nice walk and there is a lot to see. The staff was very friendly except for the lady at reception who could hardly stop herself from smiling. Was the day shift, thought she might have had a bad day, but was the same the next morning 😊 I would have liked some information when checking in, I always had to ask first and was rather tedious. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

The hotel is basic. The food is ok. It's fine as a transit hotel, but I think it's expensive for what you get. The breakfast is also basic.

For the price I find this hotel very good! free private parking with video surveillance, swimming pool, sauna, pinball machine, billiards, bar with terrace etc. breakfast included (very complete in fact) spacious clean room pleasant and helpful staff.. ask for more for this price when at the restaurant you just have to book and around 7 p.m. the service was good. If I wanted even better I would have chosen a 4 star hotel and not sure it would be so good 😄I I have already paid more for lousy services. This is my second stay in this hotel if I have the opportunity to return to Besançon I will thank the team for the third time.

2023: It's a great hotel for transit. Quite close to the motorway, 2 gas stations in the immediate vicinity. Parking spaces are available and illuminated. We were thrilled with a half-board offer, which included a drink, main course and starter or dessert. There was also a kids menu. There is nothing to complain about in terms of taste!! There was no refrigerator in the room, but refrigerated items can be left at reception. Excellent. Nice outdoor area, you can also have breakfast/dinner here. The hotel is quiet and the staff is great; Spontaneous inquiries in advance were answered quite quickly. Update 2024: our second stay is also great. Many thanks to the restaurant manager for accommodating the wait.

3rd stay in this hotel, and once again, it's just perfect, pleasant reception staff, a large room, comfortable bedding, quiet and above all very clean, full breakfast included in the stay, I highly recommend .bravo IBIS Styles Besançon

A pleasant stay with children, pleasant, spacious and quiet room, swimming pool & games available, loan of towels, bar, full breakfast, closed parking, 24-hour reception, regularly frequented establishment, I recommend. Outside the hyper-center to be reached by car in 5 minutes (or bus) but to be preferred over others for its services.
