A disappointing experience due to the service; I was very disappointed. The atmosphere was completely ruined by the unpleasant and sour attitude of one of the servers, unfortunately confirming the negative feedback I had already heard about him. It's truly a shame that such a lack of professionalism tarnishes the café's image.

A very unpleasant experience at this establishment. We were served by a particularly irritable waiter.
Not only was the welcome frosty, but every interaction seemed to annoy him. A simple request for information about the menu was met with disdain and impatience. We clearly felt like we were bothering them, which is unacceptable in a service establishment.

Nice… today is spring, so I opted for a shaded terrace in the heart of the city center. My choice: beef tartare with three new potatoes, salad, and a glass of wine. To finish, a coffee, all for €23… very reasonable for homemade food served by attentive and very polite staff.

We came for dinner as a couple and had a wonderful time. All the staff were very welcoming, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. There was a nice atmosphere in the evening, on a lovely little square 😊 I highly recommend this place 👍

What a great find Iguana Café was! We stumbled upon this bar by chance during a weekend trip to Besançon. It's tucked away in a little alcove with a lovely terrace, right next to a church.
We had drinks there one evening with a small charcuterie board. The waiter was very friendly, the service was quick, everything was perfect 👍
I went back for lunch the next day, and it was fantastic—a great burger made with local ingredients. I highly recommend stopping by Iguana Café if you're ever in Besançon 😉😉😉
