Il Gritti sur Chantilly

I used to be a regular at Il Gritti, which was one of my favorite Italian spots in the region. Unfortunately, since what appears to be a change of management, the experience is no longer the same. The cuisine has clearly lost quality and finesse, which is a real shame. The welcome remains professional, but the service lacks rigor. A concrete example: a brown stain in my Prosecco glass, probably due to improper cleaning after a dessert previously served in the same glass. I discreetly pointed it out, specifying that it wasn't serious and that I just needed to replace the glass. The result: they brought me a clean glass, okay... but they still charged me for the entire glass, without the slightest gesture of goodwill. I have no problem paying for what I consume, even with a minor incident, but I expect a minimum of consideration in return, especially when I remain courteous and understanding. This kind of detail makes all the difference in professional service. In short: an address that had a lot of charm and quality, but which today deserves to rethink itself if it wants to keep its loyal customers. I often take time to leave a review but I always leave one...

Great Italian restaurant! 🍝 The welcome was really friendly, my friends and I felt immediately at ease. The service is excellent, with a smile, and the atmosphere is very friendly. The decor is cozy, and the dishes are generous and delicious. I recommend it without hesitation!

The pizzas were good but almost an hour of waiting to be served.

Great, it's been a while since we've been here. The pizza was excellent and well-filled, the pasta was a little too "oily" but nothing bad!

Came specifically to eat pizza, but on this day they did not accept pizza orders. Decided to order ravioli with porcini mushrooms and it was divinely delicious. My friend ordered vegan risotto, said that it was also very tasty. I recommend visiting polite and friendly staff.

A very nice surprise both in terms of the location and the dishes! Don't hesitate to go there to enjoy yourself. Very smiling staff.

Nice Italian restaurant, the dishes are good and accessible. You can choose from a variety of pastas/pizzas. The cocktails are a little expensive, but decent. We weren't able to take advantage of the terrace which looks great at the end of a sunny day! It's worth the detour or to try at least once!

When it comes to being positive, I don't hesitate to let it be known. Bravo for your Verdure pizza (the veggie). A treat! Mediterranean vegetables are hearty, generous, full of flavor and very well cooked. No connection with certain pizzas calling themselves veggy and which do not resemble yours… Thanks again!
