We went to the Irish Tavern last night for the first time. The atmosphere was fantastic, we had a great time. The lady who works at the bar was very kind and welcoming, and the DJ was great. We'll definitely be back very soon, we loved it!

A lovely little lunch for two on a Monday for my birthday. The service was impeccable...the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They have a daily special (a free aperitif, a discount, etc.). I was surprised it wasn't very busy. I'll definitely be back. The waitress was very friendly, and her bearded colleague was also very nice...and they had a good selection of draft beer! I'll be back!

We came on weekend evenings. Often the same playlist, but despite that, a good atmosphere and we had a great time. We were served by the waitress with the duvet, who was always smiling and very pleasant. See you soon!

I felt like I was in a pub I know in Dublin. The food was excellent, the setting pleasant and picturesque, and the service very attentive. A great find, highly recommended!

10/10/2026: Simple owners, simple and effective cuisine, incredible trout Welch and beef tartare… no hesitation, just go. What a welcome! I highly recommend it.
17/08/2026: Service: Satisfactory Cuisine: Excellent and flavorful Atmosphere: Depending on where you're seated, this can be a problem. The decor is in the style of the mining region, with unusual items like Peugeot windmills and milk jugs. Recommendations: ▶️ The Welsh Chorizo ▶️ ​​The Welsh with sea trout ▶️ The Chicken with Maroilles cream sauce ▶️ The fries are homemade, but the green salad lacked dressing. In short, I recommend this restaurant because the value for money is very good. For five of us, we paid €79, ordering only main courses. My rating: 17/20

04/10/2026: Disappointed by the food, and especially, look up—there are enormous cobwebs on the left side of the dining room. It doesn't make me want to come back at all if the kitchen is in the same state. The waiters should be dressed a bit better for a restaurant of this caliber. And the chef shouldn't be eating from a bowl at the end of service in front of us.
03/10/2026: A wonderful time at Le Galibot in Lens! The meat was incredibly tender, and the desserts were delicious too—a real treat. There wasn't much of a wait, and the service was quick and efficient. We had a fantastic time. I highly recommend it!
