We received a fantastic welcome, and the staff were lovely. We ordered two blackjacks and a poutine. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. Thanks again!

First time here! A very warm welcome, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Fast service despite the crowds. Generous meals with high-quality, well-prepared ingredients. In short, a fantastic experience! We highly recommend it! And we'll be back.

I booked a table at this restaurant because I had eaten there a year ago and thought it was perfect (great burger, other photos show them, fast service, great atmosphere). However, this weekend we didn't have the same experience (a 1.5-hour wait even though we were there for the first seating, dishes that arrived very cold, and the burgers weren't the same quality as before – nothing like the photos). Nevertheless, the atmosphere is still great, and the owner made a gesture of goodwill, which was appreciated. We hope to see the old Jack's again! See you soon!

My first time trying Canadian food, and I wasn't disappointed at all; quite the opposite, the meal was excellent, with more than enough food, and the value for money was outstanding. My only slight criticism is that it would have been preferable for the waitress to have her hair tied back while serving, which in no way detracts from the friendliness, pleasantness, and professionalism of the staff.

After a visit three years ago, we eagerly returned. And it was a real disappointment. The cozy little nooks have disappeared (more than one) replaced by cafeteria-style tables, the intimate atmosphere is gone, the service seems outdated and very slow, and the poutine and burgers are cold 😥 Really sad.

Excellent restaurant, superb welcome, very warm atmosphere, the food was simply delicious. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Canadian food, plus the prices are very affordable. We will definitely be back, see you soon ☺️

Of all the Quebec restaurants I've been to, this is by far the best. Generous portions AND delicious food, a very pleasant atmosphere, and welcoming staff. The poutine is delicious with real cheese curds, and the wings are perfect. I haven't tried the burgers, but I have no doubt they're good. And the portions are so generous that you could eat poutine two days in a row!

Attentive and very friendly staff. A simple and appealing menu. Affordable prices with excellent quality. Delicious gravlax and flavorful beef tenderloin. The poutine was fantastic! Pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening. The Castor IPA was excellent.
