Very friendly service and delicious filled baguettes, from falafel to feta...Great vegetarian selection.

We've been going there almost daily for over three years, and this bakery stands out in every way. From the excellent quality of the bread, thanks to impeccable craftsmanship and the use of flour from a Montpellier mill, to the always smiling and pleasant welcome from the staff, both morning and afternoon, the super tasty sandwiches with unbeatable value, the pastries made according to time-honored techniques (the raspberry straws are divine), and the cakes that always deserve a very good rating. An exceptional bakery, terribly underrated. As an added bonus, for those of us who frequent it in the afternoon, there's always a great atmosphere, a kind word from Carole, who is a gem with children. It's warm and welcoming; it's the kind of bakery you wish you had near your home. It's a small detail, but in addition to the excellent bread, it makes you really want to come back! In short, go without hesitation!

I'm a huge fan of custard tarts and I've tried many in Montpellier, so I have plenty to compare them to. The one at L'Atelier Gourmand is, for me, the best in the city. I've been going there regularly for several years, and it's never disappointed me. What I love most is that it's crustless: it really lets the custard shine, with a melt-in-your-mouth, rich, and incredibly delicious texture. It's both comforting and light, and truly excellent. And a little bonus: their festive baguettes are also fantastic, perfectly crisp and just like their pastries. A place I highly recommend.

A very good bakery; the traditional baguette is excellent, the pastries exquisite (not greasy), and the cakes not too sweet. The only thing missing is a smile from the staff and a warmer welcome. I highly recommend this high-quality, artisanal bakery.

We pass through Montpellier every week, and each time I get my coffee with cream that Harmonie makes for me with as much milk as possible 🤣 And she's the only one who makes it so good. Excellent bakery, delicious pain au chocolat and croissants too! And the traditional baguette is very good, crispy and airy, soft inside! Friendly and welcoming service! What more can I say!
