A superb estaminet in Valenciennes. Home cooking and typical dishes, reasonable prices, good beers. Plus Fantomas on “period TV.” Awesome !

Toujours un plaisir de manger chez Jules et Madeleine! Du fait maison, de la convivialité, de la qualité… Tout ce que l’on recherche quand on souhaite passer un agréable moment à table en famille ou entre amis dans un restaurant chaleureux

Excellent experience!! If you are looking for a bar with a welcome, cuisine and an atmosphere commensurate with quality estaminets, you can go there with your eyes closed. Thanks to Thibaud and his team!! I'll be back

Very good taste experience! Quality food. Warm and friendly welcome. Very good value for money. Conquered by this small, typical old-fashioned restaurant.

28/09/2024: I am modifying my opinion which I had posted more than a year ago, I went back and frankly I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement, the opinions were taken into account, I ate very well quality and homemade product we did not wait long and I also left a small tip to the waiter for his professionalism. Frankly it's very good on all points given that I am very satisfied I will return there without hesitation.
28/09/2024: Attentive and discreet service, reserved table to be a little quiet, it was perfect. Board to share ideal as an aperitif and the mussels were delicious. A good time.
