I had a really great time. The food is very good and all the staff are lovely and helpful. I love the family atmosphere of the place.

We came to this place based on the reviews. Friendly atmosphere. It depends what you're looking for: a good beer on the terrace with a nice little concert, or a good meal. Average meal.

A very good restaurant that has managed to retain its authentic charm. The place is small and cramped, and the wait can sometimes be a little long, but the food is of high quality and the portions are very generous. Excellent value for money.

Absolutely wonderful little brasserie/bistro just down the road from the Centre Place d’Armes in an old building tucked into a newer residential area. Tiny little space filled with antiques wooden tables & a daily chalkboard menu - food was true rustic country cooking - cassoulet, filet de porc with frites & salad - simple but very delicious. Good selection of beers to wash it all down with - Honestly the best meal we had the whole week we were in Valenciennes
