Having eaten there several times, I can say it's very good. Nothing extraordinary in itself (it's a neighborhood restaurant), but they know how to exceed expectations. Highly recommended.

Excellent! Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect: the service, the welcome, the meal (a special mention for the delicious homemade fries). The manager was lovely and very approachable. I highly recommend it. Thank you for your kindness.

17/03/2026: Coming from Montpellier and staying at the Ibis hotel next door, the receptionist recommended this bistro to us. It was an excellent find! We hadn't booked, but we still received a warm welcome. The waiter was top-notch, elegant, and attentive. The dishes arrived at a perfect pace. The portions were generous, but nothing was wasted, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The packed dining room reflected the quality of this bistro/restaurant.
15/03/2026: A well-known address in Poitiers, a sure bet! Always friendly service, a successful meal break every time, whatever the occasion (friends, couple, colleagues…). Thank you 😉

Auberge Le Cul de Paille

19/03/2026: A very well-known establishment in Poitiers, as the interior walls of the ground-floor dining room are covered in graffiti from celebrities who have dined there. The welcome is warm and friendly. The upstairs dining room is accessible via a rather narrow wooden staircase. The temperature is a bit chilly, as a cold draft is noticeable whenever a door opens (especially if you're seated at the top of the stairs). Otherwise, the food is very tasty. In the evening, they offer a unique set menu: 5 starters, 1 main course, and 5 desserts. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant.
