A nice little corner café in the pedestrian zone. A good place for a drink and a light snack. The tarte flambée is good, and a cold Kayser beer is perfect for a break. I just find it a bit hard to tell the staff apart from the customers, as everyone is dressed casually. An apron would be helpful for identification.

The crepes were delicious, the coffee was equally good, and the price of €10 including a soda was unbeatable. The only downside was that the server initially refused to seat me with an extra chair to put my injured leg up. She apparently would have had to make a detour. After a while, since no other cafés nearby were open, I went back and found another server who was happy to let me put my leg up.

I had a very pleasant time at this restaurant: the food was very good, the service was quite fast despite being busy, and the prices were reasonable. I would like to thank the two waitresses: they were welcoming and served with a smile.

15/09/2026: We went to the restaurant for lunch today and ordered 5 plates for a family of 6. Our family usually shares the ordered food and hence as usual, we asked for extra empty plates today. However, to our shock, the chef said that there will be additional charges if we were to be provided with extra plates. I have never seen any other French restaurant do this to their guests before. I just dont get why anyone would make this decision, give the guests a poor eating experience and earn themselves a one or two star review for bad service. The food isn't bad, but the service quality is really lacking.
21/08/2026: A good restaurant just outside Kaysersberg, away from the overly touristy places. The dining room is spacious and parking is easy. The friendly service is excellent. The value for money is quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place.
