A magnificent experience, both in terms of the food and the very professional and friendly service from the waiters. Highly recommended.

We ordered two salade biquette, a cassoulet maison, and a crêpe à la crème de marrons. They were delicious and plentiful. The service was friendly and efficient. We definitely highly recommend. The bad reviews are not deserved.

I can't understand the reviews here. We had a very good meal. We ate here in the off-season, of course, in mid-September. The restaurant wasn't overcrowded and the outside temperature wasn't 40°C, so everything was a bit more relaxed for the waitresses. The onion soup and beans are always a bit more unsettling for the stomach. In any case, our portions of onion soup, salmon, and cassoulet were plentiful and very good, and it didn't upset our stomachs. The meat, sausage, and chicken drumsticks in the cassoulet were delicious. All together, it cost us 67 euros for two people, which is perfectly fine. If there's anything to complain about when it comes to high prices, it's more about those in the surrounding shops, where a jar of cassoulet (without meat!!!!!) can be had for 15 euros or more. That's completely outrageous! We didn't find the scary house disturbing. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you shouldn't go to a tourist hotspot. Many thanks to the team at Le Grand Puits!

Very friendly and attentive staff, and fast service. The food is very reasonably priced. I've never had cassoulets before, but it tasted good!

Had lunch here, outside on the terrace, which was full, but the service was fast and efficient. It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but they had a good menu du jour with cassoulet. Portions weren't huge, but they were sufficient. It was good, but not great.

Despite the negative reviews, the food was decent and served quickly. There was obvious animosity between the two colleagues, which was evident in the restaurant.

Good menu for 26 euros, brutal casule and good desserts

The restaurant was one of the few that is open all the time, very good. We ordered 2x onion soup, entrecote and omelette respectively. All food was simple but good. Pleasantly placed outdoor seating on the square by the big fountain.

We ate at the restaurant on the ground floor. The food was typical of the area, well prepared and presented, and the service was prompt and professional. We ate well, highly recommended.

Top, nothing to complain about... Decent dish and good location Cassoulet for the kids, much to the delight of my daughter, who's fed up with every children's dish being just fries
