We had a very good meal, a set menu with a salad and the duck confit, it was great! The waiters were very kind and helpful!

An incredible welcome! The young waiter with the curly hair was absolutely fantastic. The meal was wonderfully generous, we had a great time, and the waiter and all the staff made us laugh. I highly recommend it; don't listen to the other reviews—they're just jealous of my son.

We were a little apprehensive given the restaurant's ratings, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The children's menu was excellent value for money, and the main courses were quite good.

I'm surprised by the very negative reviews.
The servers were very friendly. As for the €17.50 set menu, if you're looking for something gourmet, there are restaurants a little further away with set menus at €40 per person for asparagus and mashed potatoes—it's a choice.
We enjoyed the menu and the service.

Beautiful ambiance with enticing guitarist. Waitress and waiter, perfect service, warm and welcoming. Food €17.50 x 3 plats, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Watch the sun set around the ancient city, watch the city walk by, feel the ancient past.
What more could you ask for. Simplicity at it best. Well done guys. Perfect

I had onion soup, cassoulet and dessert fromage and glass of wine. All of this was nice, definitely didn't deserve so low score. I was afraid I would be eating something totally disgusting after reading the opinions, and it was the only open restaurant in carcassonne. Then when I received my plate it was OK. It wasn't the best food I had in my life but also wasn't the worst so them opinions are a little bit too harmful.

I find it hard to believe so many bad reviews… we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff were very friendly. The service was quick and the food was good. They didn't charge us extra for water. The price for a two-course menu plus dessert is €17.50. A very competitive price compared to the surrounding area. Everything was fine and we were happy!
