I visited this restaurant at least 20 times during my year-long stay in Dunkirk. Located right in front of Dunkirk Harbor, this popular brasserie is open, stylish, and inviting. The spacious, bright interior and terrace seating offer refreshing views of the harbor. The menu is extensive, ranging from traditional French cuisine to local Northern French specialties. The menu is rich, and of course, they have a great selection of wines. My personal recommendation is the beef tartare; the fresh beef is perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The staff are warm and friendly, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely lunch during your sightseeing. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Dunkirk. I will definitely go back the next time I visit Dunkirk!

Great setting, lovely service and delicious food! I had been craving mussels all day and I was pleasantly surprised.

The setting is superb, it's a shame the rest doesn't live up to it...

We came this weekend; the setting and the restaurant are very nice. However, considering the price of the dishes, we expected much higher quality ingredients. We ordered grilled fish with potatoes (we opted for fries) and mixed vegetables: €27. On our plate, we received fish with stale fries, a few lettuce leaves, and a cherry tomato cut in half. For our starter, we ordered smoked salmon. For €17 and change, we got two small pieces of bread and two small slices of salmon. We won't be back.

Great place. Lovely views. Luxurious atmosphere and very good food. Formula Express was really good value, quality food.

For our first time, we were very satisfied. The welcome, the food (the best being the shrimp croquettes, but the main course and dessert were also very good).

A great restaurant. We were there on a visit with our motorcycle club for three nights. Three different meals which kept getting better.
