We received a very warm welcome from the staff. We had mussels with Maroilles cheese – delicious! Excellent value for money.

We went in here as it looked nice, bad decision. Toilets dirty and the person taking our drink order and serving us had a very bad body odor. I would not normally say something as some. People can't help it but this was too much. The smell stayed with us after he had left. Even other people were complaining about it.

17/09/2026: I visited this restaurant at least 20 times during my year-long stay in Dunkirk. Located right in front of Dunkirk Harbor, this popular brasserie is open, stylish, and inviting. The spacious, bright interior and terrace seating offer refreshing views of the harbor. The menu is extensive, ranging from traditional French cuisine to local Northern French specialties. The menu is rich, and of course, they have a great selection of wines. My personal recommendation is the beef tartare; the fresh beef is perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The staff are warm and friendly, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely lunch during your sightseeing. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Dunkirk. I will definitely go back the next time I visit Dunkirk!
